The context
The logistics market is very competitive with many organisations competing for the design and delivery of advanced supply chain solutions. Making the best use of technology and aligning processes, systems and people provides the means to create competitive advantage.
The need
To build a strong and effective leadership team to drive the expanding business and lead the transformation.
The solution
Working with the Board of Directors, DevelopChange designed a programme to help the managers reflect on their roles and the influence they have on the organisation:
- exploring the participant's skill gaps in leadership, teamwork, communication, delegation and personal influence
- recognising the impact participants had on each other and elsewhere in the organisation
- translating the experience and learning on the programme back to how the Board operates in the work place
- helping individuals and the team to make sense of their situation and providing an objective perspective
- providing a process to implement ideas with the right support mechanisms for a sustainable solution
The outcome
A more cohesive team with a common sense of purpose, greater clarity on team roles, responsibilities and the requirements of them as leaders so they can operate with distinction in a fast changing business environment.
